The Central Illinois Renewable Energy Expo is proud to offer sponsorships to area businesses and organizations. This event benefits the community by providing residents and businesses with valuable information about renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable solutions, green lifestyles, and earth-friendly technology. The event features vendors and displays, seminars, and kids’ activities. All proceeds benefit the 4-H and Extension Foundation.

Vendors

The Central Illinois Renewable Energy Expo is proud to bring together vendors who will showcase products, services, and/or innovations related to green energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, green lifestyles, sustainable solutions and more. This event is a great opportunity for residents and businesses to learn from experts in the green industry. In addition to vendors and displays, the event features seminars and kids’ activities. All proceeds benefit the 4-H and Extension Foundation.

All vendors will be listed in the program book and on the event website. Press releases and advertising will draw media to the event. Vendors may distribute free giveaways or hold drawings for free prizes. Vendors will not be allowed to give away any food items (candy is acceptable) or sell any type of food items at the event. Vendors are asked to provide at least one booth worker during the entire event time; vendors who must give a presentation are exempt from working their booth during their presentation time.

Booth Rates

  • Business For-Profit, $300 each
  • Non-Profit, Government, Education, $150 each

All Booths Include

  • 10’ x 10’ space
  • One 8’ table, unskirted
  • Two chairs
  • Electric service with one 110 outlet

Set Up and Tear Down

  • Set up must be completed between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2009
  • Alternate set-up accommodations must be arranged with Gene Pratt 309-370-1395 or Gary Sutton 309-282-4839
  • Vendors must check-in during set-up with event coordinators at the main event booth
  • The facility has large overhead doors for indoor booths but no loading dock
  • Outdoor vendors may supply and set up their own tents
  • Vendors may tear down after 4:00 PM on May 3, 2009 or by Noon on Monday, May 4, 2009
  • No carts are available on site—vendors should supply their own carts, if needed

Booth Location

Sponsors and returning vendors will be given prime booth space although every effort will be made to ensure all vendors have good foot traffic
and exposure. Please indicate on the registration form any special display needs as this may determine booth location.

Food

Vendors may purchase breakfast and lunch items at the CIREE Café. Vendors are allowed to bring their own beverages but are asked to keep extras hidden from public view underneath tables or behind displays.

Liability Waiver

By purchasing a booth at the Central Illinois Renewable Energy Expo, vendors agree to accept full liability for any damages to booth materials, displays or other items supplied by the vendor; for any injuries incurred by vendor booth workers; for any damages to the event facility; or for any damage to vehicles in the event parking lot.

Sponsor & Vendor Registration

Sponsorship requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

To be included in ALL media and marketing materials, logos and sponsor organization names should be submitted no later than March 6, 2009. Sponsor requests will still be accepted after this date and up to April 3, 2009. Late sponsors will be added to media and marketing materials as possible.
